STA employs over 20 full-time coaches from many countries in order to provide players with a range of knowledge and experience. A team of coaches including our 2 head coaches below.

Neil Carter Pro Academy Head Coach
New-Zealand native, Neil was a regular Top 20 junior player and went on to coach some of the top talent in New Zealand before coming over to the UK in 2005.
Neil works with the Academy’s top junior players and is now in charge of an intensive full-time tennis programme for some of the top Women in the country, working closely with TOP INTERNATIONAL players such as Lily Miyizaki, Allana Griffin and Freya Christie.
Shaun Malcolm Junior Development Head Coach As a player, Shaun was part of the Scottish Squad for 6 years, under the guidance of Judy Murray. He then went on to play full-time before going to University. After graduating from Loughborough with a master’s degree in sports and exercise psychology…
